Your company has three realities
What is actually true
Who you are, what you sell, who leads you, who you serve. Confirmed by the people who know.
What you say about yourself
Your website, your profiles, your press. Often right. Sometimes where an error starts.
What everyone else understands
The wider web, search engines and AI systems, and what they repeat when someone asks.
The closer these realities align, the stronger your Digital Reality Score.
Learn about the Digital Reality GapFrom claims to a Score
A Score is built from specific, checkable facts about the company, never from impressions. Each claim is compared across the sources people and machines actually rely on.
- 01We read what you say about yourself
Your website, newsroom and company profiles: the Stated Reality.
- 02We establish what is true
From independent evidence: registries, reference works, databases and press. Copies count once; AI answers never count as proof.
- 03We inspect how search and AI represent you
Google for your name, and what AI assistants say about you when buyers ask.
- 04We check where buyers look in your category
The review sites, databases and AI answers your category is read from, and whether you are there beside your peers.
- 05We calculate your Score
How accurately, completely and visibly you are represented, with Evidence Coverage and what to fix first.
Accurate, complete and present where it matters
Your Digital Reality Score combines accuracy, completeness and presence across the sources assessed. Accuracy: is what sources show right and current? Completeness: are the facts that apply to you stated where people and machines look? Presence: are you on the sources that apply to your category and market? Each is shown beside the Score, with Evidence Coverage: how much could be checked. DRS observes a defined set of public surfaces; it cannot see inside an AI model or assess the whole internet. Every result shows the six places buyers and AI look:
Each claim ends in one of three states: Aligned, Gap or Unresolved. Unknown is never treated as wrong, and agreement between sources is never treated as proof. Read the methodology
Buyers, search engines and AI decide from what they can find
- Customers should find the company you actually built.
- Your brand should be associated with the right category.
- Important company facts should be accurate: leadership, products, ownership, location.
- Search engines should understand what you offer, and to whom.
- AI assistants should describe the company correctly when someone asks.
- Company changes should propagate across the wider web, not stall at your own website.
Built on the Digital Reality Gap framework
The Digital Reality Gap is the open framework for how a company is represented across its own information, the wider web, search and AI. The Score is its measurement. The framework explains why the realities diverge and how gaps close.
