Why a Score
A Score is more portable than a check. People want to know it, discuss it, benchmark it, improve it and send it to a colleague. That is what the product is built around: get a Score, understand it, claim the company, share it, improve it.
What the Score is not
It is not a monitoring product, an SEO tool or a remediation service. It shows where a company stands, with the evidence, and stops there. Deciding what to fix and watching whether it stays fixed is expert work, and it belongs to PageRadar.
Independence
The Score is maintained by PageRadar and calculated with a published methodology. It does not change because a company is, or is not, a PageRadar client, and client relationships are disclosed on profiles. Companies can claim their profile, confirm facts and correct errors for free. The full independence policy sets out the commitments.
The Score measures the accuracy of information about a company, not whether the company is trustworthy.
Privacy
Publicly observable evidence and information supplied by a company are kept apart, and every claim keeps its provenance. Company-supplied answers are never shown on a public profile without explicit permission. Profiles can be public, unlisted or private.
