Remove or correct a profile
Digital Reality Score measures how accurately, completely and visibly a company is represented across public sources: websites, search, directories, databases and AI assistants. A profile shows what those sources said on a given date, which source said it, and the methodology version used. It does not judge the company, its products or its trustworthiness.
Profiles are unlisted: they are not in search engines or in our sitemap, and only people with the link can open them.
If a source says something wrong about your company
That is what the profile is for. Each finding names the source and the date we read it, and the profile says how that source is usually corrected: edit your profile on it, or ask it to change. When the source changes, the next check reads the new value. We do not change a finding while the source still shows what we reported.
If we read a source wrongly
We can misread a page, confuse your company with another of the same name, or read an old page as current. Write to hello@digitalrealityscore.com with the profile, the finding and why. We check within 5 working days. If we misread it, we correct the reading, publish the corrected profile and keep a dated note that it was corrected. If we read it correctly, we tell you which page shows it.
If you work at the company
Claim the company from its profile: add one DNS record to your domain and you can see every source we read, compare with the peers in your category, and tell us what has changed. What you tell us is recorded as your company's statement, never as proof. It guides the next check; the Score changes only when public sources show it. Claiming is free and never changes a Score.
Removing a profile
Someone authorised to act for the company can ask us to remove its profile. Write to hello@digitalrealityscore.com from an address at the company's domain, or claim the company first and write to us. Within 10 working days of verifying the request:
- the profile page answers “not found”;
- we do not publish a new profile of the company unless the company asks;
- the company is not named in our research, benchmarks or category reports;
- the evidence we stored is kept only to explain Scores published earlier, and deleted on request.
We do not remove single findings from a published profile because they are unwelcome. A profile is published as the evidence shows it, corrected where we misread, or removed.
People named in a profile
A profile can name people in public roles, such as a founder or a chief executive, as public sources state them. If you are named and want your name removed, write to hello@digitalrealityscore.com. We remove the name within 10 working days, and the finding then refers to the role only. See also our privacy policy.
What we never do
- Accept payment to change, hide or improve a Score. Buying a Snapshot, an Audit or monitoring never changes a Score: only the evidence a later check finds does.
- Use a company's statement as proof of what is true.
- Use our own earlier output as evidence for a later Score.
